Jun 16, 2016 · Other Windows 10 users I know are also complaining that after initially booting very fast, it slows right down and it is back to the bad old days of having to make a cup of coffee while the boot completes! As I said above, I am hoping the event ID 6006 gives a clue to what might be hanging? Can anyone help?
May 25, 2024 · Anyway, the question is --- is running a fast-boot option a security with VeraCrypt? Say the system has decrypted, mounted volumes and when it gets rebooted, the configuration is read from memory and restores the decrypted, mounted state. OTOH, one can't boot into the system at all without the disk password. So it seems to be safe, or is it?

When I plug in a usb dvb-t stick fast boot fails next boot but after that it seems to boot ok. Jun 21, 2022 · I have tried system restore, disabling fast boot (it was disabled to begin with, but I tried enable-restart-disable-restart), disabling startup items and services... No success. I also checked the event log, especially for 103 and 203 errors and warnings and found none. I'm on Windows 10 Pro 21H2 build 19044.1766 Any help would be much appreciated.
